Best baby gift: good habits from the beginning

I came across THIS article from CNN.com / Partenting.com about changing your little one’s bad habits. Since a lot of our customers and readers are soon-to-be parents or new parents, I thought it might be some timely advice as far as curbing the habits before they start. We escaped a couple of these bad habits with our own children, but we’re definitely working on breaking a couple of them too. In brief, here are the five habits listed in the article with advice to break them:

  1. Falling asleep with mom (or dad)
  2. Refusing to pick up
  3. Begging for treats
  4. Insisting on being carried

Give yourself a great gift and try to avoid creating these “bad”, or rather “really hard to change”, habits in the first place. But if, like us, it’s already too late and some less-than-desirable habits have been formed, I hope that you find the article helpful.
