Guess who received two custom Name in Brights(TM) personalized baby blankets for Mother’s Day? Marcia Cross! The blankets were hand-selected as the gift of choice for Marcia by a personal friend of hers.

Marcia’s twin daughters each received a unique one-of-a-kind Name in Brights(TM) blanket in pretty shades of lavendar. We crafted the perfect twin set of personalized blankets; the blankets had complimentary lavendar / purple prints and matching lavendar plush. Each girl will have something to hold, and call their own, for years to come.

It was a pleasure designing the twin personalized blanket set for Marcia Cross and her girls - and quite the thrill to have our baby blankets selected as a gift of choice in hollywood. We’ve invested in crafting blankets that will stand the test of time, are large enough to last through the years, and are “cool” and “hip” enough to have around well beyond the baby days, and we’re happy that it shows. Each blanket is double-layered; they are warm and heavy like quilts, soft and drapeable like blankets. Visit our retailers page for info on where you can get your hands on a Name in Brights(TM) blanket.

A bonus for each b*Fab purchase you make is that a portion of our proceeds goes to ARTS - a children’s charity focused on bringing art programs to children who are faced with difficult situations.

When it comes to giving your baby the good life, there’s the good, the great, the expensive, and then there’s the top-of-the-line.

This slideshow gives you a peek at some of the most luxurious baby items on the market - and their associated price tags. Kind of gives you a peek into the life of a super-rich baby. The real test is to see how each of these items compares to their lower-priced counterparts. I do believe that you get what you pay for, especially since we manufacture luxurious baby gifts ourselves. But at what point does the price tag become ridiculous and out-weigh any possible quality and style benefits?

Or maybe there is a certain point that a brand reaches where it’s worth any price?

Thank you note for baby poncho from Brooke Shields

The image to the right is a note from Brooke Shields!! We think it’s really cool that Brooke Shields took the time to write us about the b*Fab reversible baby poncho she received for her daughter, Grier. B*Fab has the softest little fun-print reversible poncho you’ve ever seen. As you can see, it’s already a hit with celebrities.

Brooke writes:

“To Amber - Thank you so much for the poncho. It also doubles as a security blanket and “thumb sucking” aid!! Thank you for thinking of us. Sincerely, Brooke”

Each “Baby Sign Language” tee has a graphic depicting an American Sign Language (ASL) sign. Using Sign Language early and often with your infant encourages early communication and builds confidence. Babies can often speak in sign well before they are capable of forming words.

Our first two Baby Fabulous Baby Sign Language (ASL) Graphic Onesiessentences are the perfect  mother’s day / father’s day gifts?

There are so many options with baby wear these days, you could make the argument that everything is in for infants and toddlers. You can always find frilly, you can always find edgy. But, as with every season, there are styles which are more ‘in’ than the others.

Spring 2007 is looking groovy - specifically very peace, love, grooooovy baby. Watch for a lot of peace signs, happy smiling faces, and lots of love to pop up on everything baby - starting now, with Valentine’s day just a week away.

The Valentine’s day red trend will carry through to bright pinks, fuschias, oranges. There’s always the lighter-side available in infant apparel, so don’t panic if you don’t like bright. There’s a whole trend towards lighter hues - think sandy beaches and calm blue waters - which are HOT right now too. “Earthy” has moved from heavy earth tones to lighter shades of natura.

Styles that remain hot for little bops:

The cool thing is that you can find something to suit your style, no matter which style or colors your prefer.
