It’s so important for all of us to become more eco-conscious - to b*Green. While my family has made small changes around our own home, there is still so much more we can be doing. Which is why I’m always looking for new “Go Green” tips.
Since we run a baby business, and I’m a mother of two young children myself, I found this posting titled “How to Green Your Baby” on Treehugger.com to be particularly interesting. The article names the top-ten ways that you can live a greener life with your baby - that sweet little bundle of joy that goes through a ton of diapers and food, and suddenly requires a lot more laundry.
According to treehugger.com, here are the top five areas of baby’s life where you can make a green difference:
- Diapers
- Breast or bottle feeding?
- Solid Foods
- Clothing
- Body Care and Bath Time
The article on TreeHugger.com has all the details, and even gets into the nitty-gritty details, such as:
The average baby uses approx 6,000 diapers before potty training.
Wow!!! That’s amazing to me! Enjoy the article, it’s very informative.
