Hey are all you busy moms out there wondering what to wear for Spring and how to keep it simple? Bright bold colors are back - think the pure beautiful colors of the rainbow. You can make simple transitions to spring with bold chunky bracelets and necklaces, bright slip ons and pumps, and fun colored handbags and scarves.
I’m a simple girl - but I love my accessories. Simple girl goes along with being a mom just great, because I’m ALWAYS in a hurry. If you’re a new mom, you’re lucky to get mascara on, and even if you’ve got some mom time under your belt, it’s hard to keep up with trends.
Keeping up with trends is part of my job, so I’m going to pass on my easy-Spring-style-for-busy-moms tips:
- Trenchcoats are still in, you can find them in fun colors and they’ll hide any unstylish carpool outfit you have underneath.
- Dress up your jeans and neutral colored outfits with a pair of bold flats - comfy enough for you to chase your toddler, but sassy enough to add some flair to your step!
- Pull your hair into a simple pony tail and dress up your eyes with a hint of bold shadow, or play up your lips. Add some fun earrings and away you go!
- Skinny jeans are on the way out, figure flattering wide-leg pants are coming back in.
- Puffy bubble stuff is blowing away too and dress lines and skirt lines are narrowing.
- Earth-mama and eco-green will be in for a long time, so natural fabrics and wooden accessories will be easy to find.
- If you stick to neutral colored bottoms you can play with fun tops, shoes, jewelry and bags with little effort.
Happy Easter and Happy Colorful Spring!
