It’s cold / flu / fever season, so I thought it would be a good time share the article I found on “new” super foods. These super foods will help to keep you and your family healthy by regularly including them in your diet. The good thing is that some of them are actually easy-to-like, such as kiwi fruit.

Here’s the list of “new” super foods (I think they are considered “new” because their super powers were only recently discovered):

  • Pomegranate
  • Kiwi Fruit
  • Barley
  • Cranberries
  • Broccoli Sprouts
  • Kefir

There are numerous benefits to the foods listed above, including preventing Alzheimer’s Disease (Pomegranate) and reducing food allergies (kefir).

I also want to mention the super drink - green tea. Full of antioxidants, we should all drink a cup of green tea everyday. That’s also a reminder to myself.
