We just got back from a fantastic event in Beverly Hills - Jayneoni Moore’s 2008 Boom Boom Room and Big Kid Villa - a pre-Golden Globes gifting and pampering suite for celebrities, stylists, media, and select guests. The b*Fab spinning cake display was a big hit (see image to left), with declarations of “my favorite booth at this event”.
I had the pleasure of meeting so many gracious and friendly people - including Denise Richards, Ali Landry, Kim Porter (mother, P.Diddy’s twin daughters), Chris Noth (”Mr. Big”, Sex and the City), Scott Baio (”46 and having a baby”), Elizabeth Rohm (Law and Order), Salli Richardson (”I am Legend”), Rena Sofer, Dayna Devon (Co-host, Extra), Carnie Wilson, Tracey Gold, Taylor Dayne, and many more (way to go Jayneoni - it was FABULOUS!).
Denise Richards received custom-designed Name in Brights(TM) personalized blankets for her two daughters, Sam and Lola. Each girl received the b*Fab blankets in the popular Retro Butterflies print.
“I love them. I love them. Machine-washable makes all the difference…they’ll use them tonight.” declared Denise upon receiving the two large personalized blankets.
The big hit of the b*Fab Boom Boom Shower was the plush reversible poncho - the most requested b*Fab item - an instant celebrity “must-have”. Celebrities who flipped for the poncho included Salli Richardson (”I am Legend”) - “she’ll (her daughter) be a standout in her pre-school class. I
love it.”; Carnie Wilson “The poncho is so adorable and so soft!”; Matt Sampson’s wife exclaimed : “I have seen a lot of stuff today and that [poncho] is
by far the cutest I’ve seen all day.” A few more celebrites who hand-selected the b*Fab poncho for their daughters include Dayna Devon, Taylor Dayne, Rena Sofer, Jodie Sweetin, Ming-Na, and many more.
If the poncho and personalized blankets weren’t enough to flip for, the new organic graphic tee and onesie line were the icing on the cake. Celebrities such as Dave Kushner (Velvet Revolver), Ali Landry, Elizabeth Rohm, Scott Baio, Joshua Molini (West Wing), and Nicole Tubioli all scooped up the brand new “I love you” ASL-inspired organic onesies.
The event was great and we received a lot of great feedback from the guests. We enjoyed meeting a lot of new people and working with some great people also. A special thanks to my two assistants-in-crime, Lynn Carrier and Shelly Rogers. We couldn’t have pulled it off without you. I will upload all the photos from the event shortly. Thanks again to Jayneoni and the wonderful staff who helped make it happen - you were all great!
